One of the things I love is THE CHURCH!

Read through the book of Acts or the letters in Revelation and you quickly see Jesus loves his church. He died for it, prays for it, lives for it, and is going to return for it.

While many people love Jesus, sometimes people don't love the church. It's easy to love Jesus. Churches are filled with frail and fault-riddled people. Every church has a unique personality. All are loved by Jesus, but not all are loved in equal measure by each of His people.

Starting Sunday February 9, we are focusing on what we love about the Church! We are also diving into WHY God designed the Church. God calls us to be more than pew sitters. He created the church so we can grow spiritually and improve our quality of life while serving God and our church.

First, one of the greatest things I love about the Church and our church is community. God created us for community - to work as a team, to be loved and supported during good and bad times. What does it mean for YOU to be a part of this church?

Second, it's not all about us! As a church, we are here to serve and give. How do you serve and give? How might God be calling YOU to serve and give in greater measure?

Third, I love the love of God I find at church. How have you experienced God's love at our church? How can you love others in this church? How can the love of God change the lives of people in our community?

Fourth, if we LOVE our church, we should want to invite others to come! If being a part of this church has changed you for the better, don't you want others to experience it too? When we love something, we tell everyone about it. How many people have you invited to join you for worship on Sunday morning or join you for a Bible study?

Grab some invite cards located in your pew & invite, invite, invite! Join us for all four weeks starting Sunday February 9th.

No church is perfect. We have areas where we need work, but there are many great things happening in our church. Jesus is alive an active here, working on us daily. I think about this verse from Hebrews 10: And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

I LOVE this Church! Let's show this community why we love this church and JESUS!
