Pastor Caryn is organizing a new small group. Core 53 is for spiritual health what CrossFit is for physical fitness. In just fifteen minutes a day, you can master the 52 most important passages of the Bible. Most of us want to know the Bible better, but few reach our goals, often because we're too busy or we don't know where to start. Core 52 removes both barriers, offering a common sense solution that fits into our busy lives.

As familiar as we are with the songs of Christmas, there are four songs recorded in the Bible sung by people surrounding the birth of Jesus that aren't sung much at all now. Zechariah's song came after a time of silence. The angels sang a song to the shepherds (we know part of their song: "And on earth peace and goodwill toward men."). Mary sang a song to God after she had time to get over the shocking news that she was going to be the mother of the Savior.

The definition of creed is a statement of the basic beliefs of a religion; an idea or set of beliefs that guides the actions of a person or group. In the weeks ahead, I want to encourage you to think about what YOU believe about God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the church, the forgiveness of sins and the resurrection of the body.

What a joy to take a beautiful cruise with your family, enjoying the incredible ocean views, blue skies and ocean breezes! We first planned this cruise in the fall of 2019, so it was a blessing to finally go! The service on a cruise ship is amazing - cleaning your room twice a day, you just sit down and eat (or walk through the buffet!), endless clean towels, they do it all! The last full day of our cruise was a stop on Royal Caribbean's island - they call this day PERFEC

As Christians, our identity comes from God. Who does God say I am? This is a question I think we all want to know the answer to.
In challenging times, it helps me to ground myself by studying who God says I am.
