What are you reading? This is one of my favorite discussion topics. I love to hear about what others are reading.

Here are two recent thought provoking books:

I've Seen the End of You

Dr. W. Lee Warren, a practicing brain surgeon, tried to give patients hope, even as he realized, I've seen the end of you. It's a raw, honest look at how we can remain on solid ground when everything goes wrong and how we can find light in the darkest hours of life. His stories are fascinating.

Sensible Shoes

Sharon Garlough Brown writes this novel about four women as they reluctantly arrive at a retreat center and embark together on a journey of spiritual formation. I love the relationships!

A couple of my favorite fun reads:

The Joe Pickett novels by CJ Box. Joe is a game warden in Wyoming. Irecently finished book 20. Only 2 more to go.

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. The book tells the story of two sisters in France during WWII and their struggle to survive and resist the German occupation of France. Sad yet encouraging.
