When you introduce yourself to someone you've never met, what do you say about yourself? Do you tell about your work? Spouse? Family? List your attributes? Name your hobbies? Organizations you belong to? Who do you say you are?

As Christians, our identity comes from God. Who does God say I am? This is a question I think we all want to know the answer to.

In challenging times, it helps me to ground myself by studying who God says I am.

Here are the first two on this list:

Blessed

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.    Ephesians 1:3

Loved

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16

Take some time this month to read these Scripture readings. These are only 21 of the ways God describes you.

Which one(s) speaks to you the most?

Which one do you have the hardest time believing about yourself?

I pray you will know who and whose you are!
